Privacy Policy
Last updated August 5, 2026
This policy explains what information Seasharp LLC, doing business as Summit Capital Direct, collects on summitcapitaldirect.com, how we use it, and who we share it with. The short version: our service works by sharing your loan request with lenders so they can make you offers. That sharing is the product, and it only happens when you ask us to do it by submitting a request. We do not sell your information to unrelated marketers or data brokers.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you submit a loan request we collect what the form asks for: name, email, phone, street address, city, state, ZIP code, date of birth, requested loan amount and purpose, self-reported credit range, income type and amount, housing status, and military status. If you email us, we keep the correspondence.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites we receive technical information when you visit: IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, and referral source, including advertising parameters that tell us which ad or search brought you here. We use cookies and similar technologies for site operation, measurement, and advertising, including the Google Ads tag.
Consent records. When you submit a request we capture a record of your consent, including a third party certificate of the form session, so we and the lenders who receive your request can verify what you agreed to and when.
How we use your information
We use your information to validate your request, match it with lenders and lending networks, transmit it to them, send you confirmation and status emails about your request, measure and improve our advertising and our site, prevent fraud and abuse, and meet our legal obligations. We do not use your information to make credit decisions, because we do not make credit decisions.
Who we share your information with
Lenders and lending networks. This is the point of the service. When you submit a request, we transmit it to lenders and lending marketplaces so they can decide whether to make you an offer, and we are paid by them when we do. Some privacy laws treat this as a sale or sharing of personal information. Once a lender receives your request, their use of it is governed by their own privacy policy.
Service providers. Companies that help us run the site, under contracts that limit their use of your data to providing the service: hosting and infrastructure, database and queue providers, phone and address validation services, consent certification, email delivery, and advertising measurement.
Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of consumers, lenders, or ourselves. If our business is sold or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction under this policy's protections.
Advertising and analytics
We advertise on search engines. To measure whether our ads work, we use the Google Ads tag, which sets cookies and may receive hashed versions of contact information you submit so Google can match conversions to ad clicks. You can control ad personalization through your Google settings, and most browsers let you limit or clear cookies.
How long we keep information
We keep loan request records, consent records, and transaction records for as long as we need them to operate the service and to document compliance, and we may retain them for up to five years after your request unless a longer period is required by law. You can request deletion sooner as described below, subject to records we are required to keep.
How we protect information
Your information is encrypted in transit. Access to our systems is restricted and logged. We maintain a written information security program appropriate to the sensitivity of the data we handle. No system is perfectly secure, and no one can honestly promise otherwise, but security is a design requirement of this platform, not an afterthought.
Your choices and rights
You can opt out of future sharing of your information, request a copy of what we have, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. All of these are free and we do not treat you differently for asking. Email offers@summitcapitaldirect.com from the address you used with us, or see our Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information page for details, including one honest limitation about requests already delivered to a lender.
Depending on where you live, state law may give you specific rights to know, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We honor these requests regardless of which state you live in. If we decline a request we will tell you why, and where state law provides an appeal process we will explain how to use it.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, email us and we will delete it.
